Look Homeward Angel by Johnny Ray, by Joe Junior, by Cliff Richard

"Look Homeward Angel" has always been one of my favourite songs.  The original version was sung by Johnny Ray in the 1950s. (http://youtu.be/3KfJNYa8gOs)

I remember when I had a chance to be a deejay at a radio station back in my younger days, I had prepared 10 songs for my half-hour show, and I had arranged this song to be played at the end of my program, just before my signing off.  Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to play this song due to the many commercials the radio station was required to air between the songs, and for which I did not account for the time.  Hence, my "boss" (temporary boss for that 30 minutes) asked me to cut out the last song.  And of course, I couldn't say no!  And for a very long time, I regretted having arranged this song as my last song on the show!

Besides Johnny Ray's version, there are many other versions sung by other singers or groups as well.  And they're all equally good to listen to, again and again.  One of my favourite versions is the one by Hong Kong's Joe Junior!

Then I discovered another version by my all-time favourite singer, the one and only Cliff Richard!  Oh, he's the best!
